Remember my recent favorite podcasts post? Today’s another collection of my recent favorites, but a more generic one. Enjoy
How we love
There is the book, and initially it was written for couples to improve their marriage and partnership. However, how we love is so much broader than just with our significant other.
Each person’s childhood experiences form the roots of who they are; continuing to inform the way that person responds to others or expresses love, even far into adulthood. The result of all these experiences are actually very predictable because people tend to fall into one of five special categories: called “Love Styles”.
On the website you can take a free questionnaire that is designed to help you identify YOUR unique love style, along with growth tips & recommendations tailored specifically to you.
With Locals
Now that life is slowly getting back to semi-normal, I find I still don’t want to hit huge crowds. That’s where this nifty website comes in. It allows you to book private tours and activities with locals worldwide. Discover hidden gems in Paris, go on a family treasure hunt in Lisbon etc. There are even online experiences you can attend from the comfort of your couch.
Champing
Have you ever wanted to sleep in a church? And I don’t mean doze off during mass… Champing is a unique concept of camping overnight in a church in the UK. Just looking at the pictures make me want to go on such an adventure.
Z-library
How had I never heard of this? The world’s larges e-books library. You can download any books to read on your computer/iPad with i-Books or on your Kindle or even send them to you via email. They have over 7 million books. And they’re all FREE.
Hunger Test
Are you searching for something but don’t know what exactly? Are you creating something but can’t seem to figure out what it is? Then the hunger test is for you. It’s an evaluation of your soul. It will tell you what it is that you need to satisfy your heart’s deepest longings. There is also the book to read more after you have done the test.
Positive Psychology course
I was recently introduced to this course which I have now enrolled in and started. Do you want to investigate those positive things that make your life better? Want to gain skills to make a positive change in your life and that of others? It’s engaging and interactive and who doesn’t need a little positivity in their life right now? The course is free.
Nigthbirde – it’s ok
I am a fan of The Voice and similar singing and talent competitions. Nothing has blown me away as much as this audition in a long time though. Jane’s story, her zest for life, her wisdom, her voice. I have watched it many times and it still makes me cry. Of course she’s gone viral now and you can buy the T-shirt with her quote “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore to be happy” but that’s not the point. The point is love, life, connection, music and following your dreams no matter what.

R.E.S.T. podcast
According to Virginia Dixon, “R.E.S.T.™ (Relational, Emotional, Spiritual Truth) is the single most important component for healing the whole person.” In her podcast episodes she talks to people about what causes the confusion, chaos and dis-ease in their lives. It’s full insight and has a wealth of information. She also interview Jane aka Nightbirde mentioned earlier about love and attachment and highly recommends the book ‘How we love’. I love when things I love come full circle with other people I discover.
